Daniëlle Cathari Revives The Woolrich Woman Line for FW21
The Dutch designer gives Woolrich’s outdoor styles a modern makeover.
Pennsylvania-based outdoor label Woolrich has invited designer Daniëlle Cathari to revive “The Woolrich Woman” line, a range that hasn’t been touched for the past 40 years.
“It truly is an honor to be given the opportunity to work with such an iconic company. To revive ‘The Woolrich Woman’ is of sentimental and personal value to me; the way I envision this woman is shaped by my own experiences of becoming a woman,” Cathari speaks on the collaboration in a press release. “How you feel has everything to do with how you dress. I want to design for women to feel comfortable, secure and happy with what they’re wearing, wherever they go and whatever they do.”
Blending the 191-year-old brand’s signature wool styles with Cathari’s deconstructed design philosophy, the Fall/Winter 2021 Update your collection with the Calley Shirt Dress from outerwear GIVENCHY JACKET WITH G MONOGRAM Jacket, DC Puff Jacket, DC Puff Vest, and DC Merino Zip-Up dressed in neutral hues and cool tones.
