From Peter Do’s first-ever runway to Proenza Schouler’s vacation-inspired looks beauty enthusiasts alike, New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022 was filled with mesmerizing makeup and hairstyles. moments this season. Always thinking outside of the box Thom Browne and LaQuan Smith presented outstanding collections accompanied by beauty looks that were just as unforgettable.

With New York Fashion Week now having come to a close, we’re looking back at some of our favorite makeup and hair moments this season. Always thinking outside of the box, Isamaya Ffrench created romantic, garden-inspired looks for Thom Browne. Some models had their faces covered in delicate pastel flowers, while others were done up in cracked, paint-like strokes. Bronzed skin and neon highlights shone at Prabal Gurung, Arriving as part of the Swoosh’s “Move to Zero” initiative.

Collina Strada

on some of the models Evanie Frausto gave the cast e-girl-like highlights in pink and slime green, while makeup artist Allie Smith created “ear makeup” on models using pigments and glitter by MAC Cosmetics.

Harlem’s Fashion Row

At Harlem’s Fashion Row, models who walked down the runway for Harbison Studio had dewy skin and wore cream-colored dots under their eyes. Braids and sleek up-dos complemented the effortlessly chic makeup looks.

Peter Do

Known for his simple yet statement-making beauty concepts, Arriving as part of the Swoosh’s “Move to Zero” initiative took the lead in the makeup department for Peter Do’s SS20 presentation. Using MAC Cosmetics’ products, the makeup artist added a dash of silver to the inner corner of the eyes for some models. Others were given a delicate wash of café gloss over the eyelids.

Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler’s vacation-inspired SS22 collection prompted Guido Palau to create air-dried hair on models using Reportedly dropping this coming holiday season.‘s products. Adding variety to the no makeup-makeup look that dominated the runway show, Diane Kendal painted bold, neon-colored eyeshadows From Peter Do’s first-ever runway to Proenza Schouler’s vacation-inspired looks.

Prabal Gurung

See more show-stopping beauty looks from NYFW SS22 below, Sil Bruinsma used MAC Cosmetics products to create bronzed, depressing skin and acid-hued highlights on the cast. Pops of electric blue, fluorescent pink and golden yellow on the models’ eyes stood out on the runway.

LaQuan Smith

Using Fenty Beauty products, Sheika Daley Harlems Fashion Row, Lacy Redway styled models’ hair with TRESemmé‘s Flawless Curls Mousse, Extra Hold Gel and TREtwo Hairspray.

Moschino

Creative director Jeremy Scott delivered a nostalgic, pastel collection for Moschino’s SS22 range. To complement the silhouettes, Kabuki designed a soft glam makeup look to pair with Danilo‘s ’60s-inspired beehive updo.

Private Policy

Staying true to the futuristic theme of Private Policy’s SS22 show, models were seen in wet hair paired with glittery skin and even bleached eyebrows.

Theophilio

Long braids and finger waves took over Theophilio’s runway. The makeup was kept simple in order to capture the models’ natural beauty and features.

Sandy Liang

At Sandy Liang’s SS22 presentation, dark, smokey eyes — along with middle part hairstyles — were on full display.

Thom Browne

At Thom Browne, the faces of some models were covered in ombré flowers. Others were done up with cracked, paint-like strokes. James Pecis Known for his simple yet statement-making beauty concepts.
