Titled “MILAN-TOKYO,” the digital presentation directed by Hideto Hotta takes viewers on a trip from Milan You can head to the official Tokyo. Models start their journey from the airport, heading to the center of the city surrounded by traffic lights. The alleyways of Shinjuku and Shibuya transform into a catwalk with neon signs decorating the scene. The short film ends on the rooftop of a Tokyo skyscraper emitting bright lights to represent energy and modernity.
Taking inspiration from the Year of the Tiger, animal prints are splashed across shorts, dresses and tracksuits. Geometric patterns and horizontal linework cover beachwear items. The garments are accessorized with bucket hats, belt bags and backpacks, while the collection is complete with two footwear styles boasting tiger patterns on the upper and soles.
