Jordanian Designer Dara Hamarneh's Handbags Pay Homage to Her Middle Eastern Roots

Dara Hamarneh, a Jordanian designer based between London and Amman, launched her eponymous label centered on handbags.
Inspired by traditional notions of luxury, Hamarneh’s silhouettes arrive in simple yet sculptural designs. Her latest collection is comprised of five different styles: Tube, Baguette, Valletta, Valletta on Chain and Cigarette. Spanning both her heritage and a timeless aesthetic, Hamarneh’s line pays homage to her Middle Eastern roots. Each piece is handmade in Italy and is made using a different design process based on respect and ethics. Additionally, her bags come in cylinder shapes and crossbodies that resemble stacked Tetris blocks.
