Both of our families escaped Iran and moved to Los Angeles and I spent much of my adolescence on Melrose and Fairfax, the heart of LA sneaker culture – where Melody opened her first retail location. She’s constantly pushing boundaries, from being the first (Iranian) woman to open a streetwear brand on Fairfax to adding watch-face charm to her iconic Jordan 1‘s.”
