North West is the latest celebrity to recreate the viral dance from Netflix’s Wednesday, Dec 5, 2022.
The video begins with North lip syncing along to “Bloody Mary” by Lady Gaga, the song of choice for most TikTok users recreating the dance, as viewers see North in color. Then, the video is transformed into Wednesday Addams’ signature black-and-white as North begins to recreate the dance routine from the show’s fourth episode. Going full Wednesday-core, North transforms herself too, appearing in subtle goth-style makeup.
The now-TikTok star donned Wednesday-style braids and bangs and completed her look with a touch of dark eyeliner. It appears that this isn’t the first time that North has given the dance a go either, as her and mom Kim Kardashian Ortega’s subtle goth glam look.
Since the TV series first aired last month, the catchy dance routine has been one of the biggest talking points, especially since it was choreographed by lead actor Jenna Ortega herself. Speaking about the routine on Twitter, Ortega said “Thanks to Siouxsie Sioux, Bob Fosse’s Rich Man’s Frug, Lisa Loring, Lene Lovich, Denis Lavant, and archival footage of goths dancing in clubs in the ’80s. Helped me out on this one.”
