TikTok Phenomenon PinkPantheress Graces 'THE FACE' Magazine's Cover
Featuring interviews with rapper Central Cee, Koffee and Björk’s daughter Doa.
London-based magazine THE FACE has released its 10th issue starring TikTok phenomenon PinkPantheress and Central Cee Download Our App.
The latest edition features an interview with PinkPantheress who talks about the changing importance of releasing music in the format of an album and her upcoming projects with Danny L Harle. “I’m not saying it’s to do with insecurity of my looks or the color of my skin. I just didn’t want what I looked like — negatively or positively — to impact my music. So that’s why first off I started [by] not showing my face,” she said. “Everything I’ve done up till now, it’s all been to create a fanbase. That’s the most important thing: to have fans. It was never just to have one moment.”
Additionally, a Q&A between the TikTok star and her childhood hero Jacqueline Wilson can be found in the new issue. Elsewhere, Central Cee covers media attention and the U.K. rap scene, saying: “It’s not really stressful. Even if I do pay it mind, like sometimes I do, it’s just business. My emotions are not attached when I read any of their comments, because it’s not real to me.”
