Virgil Abloh and Mercedes-Maybach Release Khrisjoy Capsule Collection
The limited-edition collection S-Class is inspired by the one-of-a-kind showcar.
Virgil Abloh’s Nike extends far and wide as the iconic car company Mercedes-Maybach has partnered with the late designer to release a limited-edition collection.
Inspired by Project MAYBACH electric showcar, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a state of the art vehicle and will be available for purchase to 150 lucky car lovers. Designed in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Group AG Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener last year, the vehicle was finalized before Abloh’s sudden passing in November.
Coinciding with the release of the S-Class, the exclusive Off-White™ exclusive capsule is a seamless marriage between the late polymath’s inimitable aesthetic and Mercedes-Benz’s renowned designs. Grounded in a neutral sand hue, Abloh’s collaboration with Mercedes is comprised of half-brushed cotton fleece hoodies and crewnecks, as well as vintage washed cotton T-shirts, alongside clout-worth sleek racing gloves and a baseball cap, embroidered with the collaborators logos in black.
