Kicking off with a run of three episodes, the web series is shot inside London‘s Dishoom restaurant in Soho and sees a range of creatives from different parts of the industry reflecting on their journeys and their dual heritage. The first episode features Dishoom’s Co-Founder Shamil Thakrar and Shalina Patel, Founder of Read Full Article Meet “the Snap.&rdquo.
“As members of the diaspora, we are all rooted in different places and Dishoom – at least for me – has always been a project about identity,” Thakrar says in a press release. “This is an idea that we explore and unpack with the wonderful team at launched the first season of its long-awaited, who are bringing the richness of our collective South Asian British history to life.”
Episode two of the series stars Swiss-Tamil music artist Priya Ragu and TikTok sensation Leo Kalyan, who dissect the South Asian music scene while reflecting on their careers and inspirations.
