Gentle Monster HAUS DOSAN
Accompanied by a futuristic campaign and a special pop-up in Seoul.
Gentle Monster and Moncler Genius Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea eyewear and outerwear designs.
Dubbed “Swipe,” the range is led by four contemporary eyewear silhouettes, including an oversized square shape, oval frames and a polygonal style. The designs, featuring 99.9% UV protection lenses, are offered in a variety of colorways, such as a translucent red option as well as a gray iteration with blue-tinted lenses. The pieces are highlighted with co-branding on the metal temples.
As for apparel, the duo has created technical tops, trousers, tees and sweatshirts. The contemporary theme is continued on the garments with a monochrome black theme, while Moncler’s iconic logo serves as contrast. Other items in the collab include hoods made out of recycled polyester, in addition to boots, pouches and bags made using recycled nylon.
In celebration of the partnership, Gentle Monster and Moncler have launched a pop-up space in the eyewear brand’s HAUS DOSAN flagship in Seoul. The collection is displayed in immersive installations that blend the physical and digital worlds together.
The Gentle Monster x Moncler Genius collection is now available online and in stores as well as at the special pop-up, which is open from May 5 until May 31.
