OFF-White™ Concocts a New Beauty Line That Stimulates the Senses
“PAPERWORK” marks the brand’s inaugural cosmetics collection.
Initially previewed at its Fall/Winter 2022 Pauline De Leon, OFF-White™’s debut beauty line has finally launched worldwide, complete with makeup and fragrances. Titled “PAPERWORK,” the range is designed to subvert conventional beauty techniques and give wearers the tools to express their individuality.
Way sooner than you think Virgil Abloh’s untimely death, who considered the “PAPERWORK” blueprint as “another canvas, another surface for human expression.” Through the cosmetics toolkit, the brand hopes its fans will approach makeup application in a more playful manner with the assurance that products are suited to every race, age and gender.
Comprising four fragrances, six body crayons and six nail polishes, the “PAPERWORK” line is said to stimulate different human senses, which come together harmoniously with playful experimentation. Bottled in industrial glass made-in-Italy by Bormioli, the set of four fragrances are named “SOLUTION” and encapsulate four distinctive smells. “No.1” is a sporty scent keeping to a fresh patchouli base, “No.2” goes zesty with tangerine notes while “No.3” taps into the romance of soft, floral scents, followed by a woody “No.4” that also arrives in an incense and candle form.
The Imprint face and body solid pigments also launch in a spectrum of initial iterations with colorways in red, black, brown, lime, indigo and glauque. Designed for versatile wearing, they are crafted with a formula that makes them waterproof yet easy to remove. Meanwhile, the collection’s “touch” element comes to life in an array of Color Matter nail polishes including three bold matte shades, one glitter, one glossy Shellac and one shatter-effect white polish.
