Speaking about the decision to partner with Delevingne in a press release, G-Star noted that “she fits in perfectly with the brand’s tradition of working with unique talents. Delevingne is a ‘true original’ through her rebellious, outspoken character and her ability to show different aspects to her personality.”
Introducing a new denim collection, the campaign sees Delevingne modeling two new womenswear denim styles: the Stray and Type 49. Offering a straight fit with an ultra high-rise, the Stray takes cues from ’50s girl gangs and the art of rebellion. A unisex silhouette, the Type 49 features a high-rise and relaxed, straight leg fit.
