Don’t Worry Darling has made headlines for less than lovely reasons this year. The film was released on Friday September 23 and in just a few days, Twitter has been up in arms over how revolutionary the movie was not. Before the debut, Wilde received her fair share of backlash but one aspect people were excited about was her approach to female pleasure as the director. “Men don’t come in this film, only women here,” she revealed in August.

Overall, the movie had potential but it just took so many turns it didn’t have to. Critics reviews made sound terrible than it was. The comments Wilde made about the film being about “female pleasure” will definitely come back to bite her. I’d give it a 6.5/10 #DontWorryDarling
