50 Cent and Eminem Are Working on an '8 Mile' TV Series
Two decades after the film premiered.
50 Cent announced he’s currently developing an 8 Mile TV series with Eminem.
“I’m gonna bring his 8 Mile to television,” 50 Cent revealed during a recent interview with radio host Big Boy.
He continued, “It’s gonna be big. I’m working. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting 100. I think it should be there for his legacy because it’s important to me that they understand it.”
According to the “Candy Shop” artist, the TV adaptation will serve as a backstory to the 2002 film, which starred Eminem and Brittany Murphy. Additionally, the TV series will cover Eminem’s character during his earlier years and is meant to educate younger generations on the rapper’s legacy in hip-hop.
