Gabrielle Union knows how to tug at her heartstrings when displaying the red carpet’s most editorial hairstyle and makeup moments. It always feels familiar but yet new at the same time. Her structured top knot at the season 3 premiere Truth Be Told red carpet was a dream in hair form.
Union took to the scene in a colorful, strapless sequined dress with a slicked-back structured updo that complemented the entire look effortlessly. Styled by her resident hairstylist Larry Sims who is a master at cultivating intricate styles, the actor’s hair was spun into a tight top knot with tufts of spiked hair poking out from the underside. The overall knot had to have been held with millions of bobby pins tucked discreetly into the knot because the bun was secured and presented tightly in the proudest manner.
