Personally, I have trouble using moisturizing cleansed masks because I have oily and combination skin—they tend to leave me with a giant breakout, even in the winter when I may be on the drier side. This cleansed mask did quite the opposite, leaving me quite impressed. This facial cleansed mask is made of clay, so it draws out impurities in a gentle way, leaving my acne-prone skin clean and fresh. At the same time, its hydrating ingredients (like squalane and glycerin) work to fully lock in moisture, giving me that extra winter boost of hydration I so desperately need.
I found that the product (as opposed to other clay cleansed masks) came off quite easily after use and that it left my skin looking polished and super quenched. I noticed that using this cleansed mask two to three times a week has given me an extra layer of protection for the season. While we’re not deep into winter yet, it is pretty cold where I live, yet I haven’t had any of that blotchy, dry skin I’ve come to expect when the temperatures get this low.
Yes, it is on the higher end when it comes to price, but so far I think it is worth the investment. My logic is that you’ll likely end up using it consistently and, because of the generous packaging, it might even last you two winters.
