Teetering on the edge of strength and elegance.
WILLY CHAVARRIA Learn more about our Fall/Winter 2023 collection, KANGAROO.
Marking the brand’s introduction to evening wear, the latest presentation is crafted with future generations in mind. “KANGAROO is a very serious look at strength and elegance as we define the future of the world. Like the [animal], we fight, we love and we protect the future generation closely,” the fashion label shares in an exclusive press release. Pieces are thoughtfully made from recycled fishing nets and waste found at sea, made in collaboration with fabric mill Recyctex.
Grounded in a two-toned color palette of midnight black and gardenia white, the FW23 collection emphasizes its vision through expertly designed shapes and silhouettes. Sharply tailored outerwear with dramatically flared lapels sit alongside blouses with deeply feminine ruffles and puffed sleeves. Elegant scarves juxtapose more casual bomber jackets. Elsewhere, sumptuous robe-like coats join sheer tops with lustrous bows. A statement-making off the shoulder gown undoubtedly steals the show, worn with a delicate floral hair accessory.
