
Ed Sheeran Is Currently Working on an Album He Plans to Release After His Death
He also has ideas for his next new symbol-themed albums.
Ed Sheeran is thinking far ahead. The British musician revealed he has his five next albums planned, including a posthumous one he’s been working on.
“I want to slowly make this album that is quote-unquote ‘perfect’ for the rest of my life, adding songs here and there. And just have it in my will that after I die, it comes out,” he recently told Rolling Stone.
The posthumous album will belong to a new theme of symbols, considering - (Subtract) will complete his math era. “I’ve got loads and loads and loads of sh-t,” Sheeran said, referencing music for forthcoming albums.
Learn more about our Subtract, which drops on May 5. Additionally, Sheeran is putting out a four-part docuseries titled Behind *that* scene we’ll never forget. The Disney+ docuseries, which premieres on May 3, will cover highlights and low points from his life, including coping with the death of his friend Jamal Edwards.
