Social media’s MUA Queen Mary Phillips has given us insight into achieving the coveted Bratz Doll overlined lip liner trend. This is the tea we’ve all been desperately waiting for.

She gives us a step-by-step take on the lip routine, saying, “I like to begin in the corners of my mouth and start right outside the natural lip line.” Showing us the chicest and most relaxed way to line the lips without going overboard, ensuring we know to stay closer to the lip line.
Going into the clips deeper, she says, “I extend it (the lip line) at the very top and at the bottom of the lower lip,” while taking the lip pencil around the frame of her pout. Phillips shared that she’s using an out-of-stock “Giorgio Armani lip pencil in the shade 12,” but suggests using the cult-loved Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the shade “Pillow Talk.”
Finishing up, she recommends “enhancing the cupid’s bow following the natural shade of the upper lip, by bringing it up ” a bit higher,” followed by concealer to clean up the edges. She takes a soft brush here to smooth the hard lines out, making sure everything is “nice and clean.” To seal the look in, the artist adds a lip gloss and there you have it, celebrity-esque lips.
