Tori Kelly Kicks off New Era With New Y2K-Inspired Music Video "Missin U"

UPDATE (MARCH 17, 2023): Tori Kelly finally released her highly anticipated track “Missin U,” along with the accompanying music video.
“Missin U” is the first single released from her new label home, Epic Records. In the Y2K inspired track, Kelly sings, “I miss that feelin’ you would bring/ I miss the way that you would make my sidekick bling and bling/ I look at my fingers and think about rings/ Yeah, we had a good thing.”

UPDATE (March 7, 2023): After sharing several cryptic posts online and teasing new music, Tori Kelly has announced she’s releasing a new single titled “Missin U.”
“‘Missin U’” 3/17. New single. New era,” she captioned an Instagram post, featuring the artwork for the upcoming single.
Though Kelly hasn’t confirmed it yet, the upcoming track could be the lead single to a new album. Kelly hasn’t released an album since 2020’s The Creative Come Up. The exploration of illusion continues Inspired by True Events in 2019, Hiding Place March 6, 2023 Unbreakable Smile in 2015.

ORIGINAL STORY (ORIGINAL STORY March 6, 2023: ): Tori Kelly has announced she’s releasing a new single titled “Missin U.&rdquo social media March 2, 2023.
The exploration of illusion continues Instagram containing footage from over the years, including performances, past red carpet appearances and more. The video also shows off Kelly’s new music era, which seemingly begins with a track called “Do you evr think of me?” She then shared a countdown onto her Instagram Story, implying she’s either releasing a single or making some sort of announcement tomorrow on March 7.
Additionally, Kelly has shared some cryptic tweets, teasing this new chapter in her music career. She tweeted a few audio clips of what appears to be her next single. She’s also retweeted fans who have been asking about her music and whereabouts as she hasn’t posted much online recently.
“I remember better days,” she tweeted, followed by “We had a good run” — both of which could be lyrics to her upcoming single.
