Amazon Prime Video Launches Volume-Enhancing Feature "Dialogue Boost"
Making it easier to hear voices clearer despite loud backgrounds.
Amazon Prime Video has now made it easier to listen to what actors are saying since launching Dialogue Boost for its original films and series. The new feature allows users to raise the volume on dialogue, spacing out background music and effects.
“At Prime Video, we are committed to building an inclusive, equitable and enjoyable streaming experience for all our customers,” said Raf Soltanovich, VP of technology at Prime Video and Amazon Studios. “Our library of captioned and audio-described content continues to grow, and by leveraging our technological capabilities to create industry-first innovations like Dialogue Boost, we are taking another step to create a more accessible streaming experience.”
Dialogue Boost is now available on all devices that support Prime Video. To use it, you can start by locating the option under the audio/subtitles drop-down menu when watching an original film or series.
“Customers can now access Dialogue Boost on select Amazon Originals including Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Apr 18, 2023, and Harlem, as well as movies including Learn more about our, Beautiful Boy, and Being the Ricardos,” In partnership with Italian architect Gaetano Pesce during Salone del Mobile blog post.
Dialogue Boost is expected to expand to more original titles later this year.
