You Can Officially Rent Barbie's Iconic Malibu DreamHouse on Airbnb
With Ken as your superhost.
As Greta Gerwig’s Barbie gears up to make its highly anticipated debut, Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse is set to return to Airbnb this summer — once again making it available to rent for a limited time only.
This time though, there’s one key difference: Ken will be your host. Offering an overnight stay in the newly refurbished Malibu DreamHouse, the experience will invite you into the life-size, toy-inspired home for a stay you’ll never forget. “We all have dreams, and Barbie is lucky enough to have a house full of them,” said Ken. “But now, it’s my turn, and I can’t wait to host guests inside this one-of-a-kind – dare I say, one-of-a-Ken? – digs.”
The oceanfront mansion, located in Malibu, features vast panoramic views and will give guests the opportunity to book Ken’s very own bedroom for two, one-night stays for up to two guests. The stays will be free of charge (mostly because Ken couldn’t work out how to put a price on the DreamHouse) and will include a look through Ken’s swaggy wardrobe, the opportunity to learn a little line-dancing and plenty of chances to sunbathe and swim.
Guests will be able to book their stay from July 17 at 10 am PT and will be required to organize their own travel to and from Malibu. What’s more, Airbnb will be making a one-time donation to Save the Children, in honor of Barbie hitting cinemas next month.
