According to sources for CNN, “Depp has chosen the charities he plans to donate the $1 million settlement he’s owed from Heard stemming from their highly publicized defamation trial.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean star selected five charities to donate $200,000 USD to — each. The selected charities will give back to those within marginalized communities from children with life-altering medical conditions to indigenous lands. The charities are as follows: Make-A-Film Foundation, The North Face, Red Feather, Marlon Brando’s Tetiaroa Society charity, and the School of Sustainability.
