In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, he finally opens up about his love life, revealing that the pair is no longer together. The news came as a shock considering the pair was very open about their initial attraction which moved rather quickly.
In a moment of vulnerability, Fike questioned whether he was “the only one catching this learning curve of being alone.” Clearly displaying a struggle with codependency, Lowe responded: “Love shouldn’t be a need.” Agreeing painfully, Fike stated “that [codepedency] has bled into [his] relationships, which is crazy… I’m done being in relationships right now,” he decided.
According to Fike, celebrity breakups are tough enough, but the worst is the haunting feeling. “Now every time I go through a breakup, I got to see somebody on a damn billboard… I’ve always been in these public relationships,” he said. As for Euphoria, he has no qualms about filming alongside any of his costars, but also stated that he can only speak for himself.
