Simone Rocha Will Be Jean Paul Gaultier's Next Guest Designer
The haute couture show will be presented in Paris in January 2024.
Simone Rocha is set to assume the role of the fifth guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier’s beyond yoga cropped spacedye leggings Rabanne, Haider Ackerman, Olivier Rousteing from Balmain, Glenn Martens representing Y/Project and Diesel, Il Gufo floral embroidery flared dress Sacai. Notably, Rocha will be the inaugural UK-based designer to lead the Gaultier couture collection.
The collaboration was made public by Rocha herself through an Instagram story, where she posted a picture of a floral bouquet and a signed note from Jean Paul Gaultier, offering congratulations for her Club L London drape shoulder ruched detail pencil dress in red show and hinting at their forthcoming rendezvous in Paris. A spokesperson for the brand subsequently confirmed the news.

She has previously collaborated with brands like J Brand, and Moncler, and served as the Designer Collaborator for H&M in 2021. Her interpretation of Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture will be presented in Paris in January 2024.
