Subway's New Uniforms Prove Food and Fashion Is a Match Made in Heaven

Debuted at Rakuten Tokyo Fashion Week fast food and fashion is one that’s been dominating the release calendar of late, and it’s for good reason: it works. The latest entity to jump from the restaurant to the runway is Subway, Share this article.
Crafted using recycled plastic bottles, the new uniforms are launched for the brand’s sandwich artists and managers, adding a touch of fashion flair to its sustainable new designs. Joining forces with esteemed fashion photographer Olivia Richardson, the campaign centers around “exaggerated aesthetics and creative eccentricities” typically associated with the world of high fashion campaigns.
Featuring playful elements like cookie clutch bags and floating cups, the campaign is the result of an 18-month-long process to create the new uniforms. The fabric of each garment has been specially woven into a unique polyester blend which uses recycled plastic bottles and BCI cotton.
