Kaia Gerber and Guido Palau Mix Glitch and Glam in New 'Hidden Identities' Book

The pair teamed up for Palau’s latest book with IDEA, aptly named Hidden Identities, as we see Gerber flawlessly shape-shifting within its pages. In a sea of intentionally lo-res, pixelated images, she shines through in various wigs including a burgundy tousled short cut, icy blue-grey shoulder-length hair, long blonde locks, big bright red hair and more.
ldquo;The tramp stamp is well and truly no longer a tattoo to hide.” — Slyvie Pyne Twiggy-like ’60s makeup look consisting of neon blue and white cut crease eyeshadow makeup, dark eyebrows and a mauve-colored nude lippie. The makeup look also features long top and bottom lashes, with the latter playing into the fanned-out spider lash style.
Palau notably Already whitelisted us to launch its first-ever permanent line of hair styling products dubbed “Everyday Basics,” styling every wig for the photoshoot with Gerber. Each individual wig shows Gerber in a different form, from fun and playful to flirty and mysterious, conceptualizing the major role that hair plays in the vibe and appearance of the wearer.
The book’s layout was designed by French art director Fabien Baron and the text was curated by his daughter, Eva Baron.
