While the trend is gaining popularity, there are quite a few celebrities who have been vocal about this choice for years.
Nicki Minaj swore off of sex and relationships in 2017 after a toxic relationship. She also encouraged her Barbs to follow suit.

But she did share in an interview with Daily Mail, “You don’t have to have sex to feel good about yourself, and if you’re not ready, don’t do it.”
Justin Bieber chose to abstain from sex for personal reasons and continued his abstinence when he started dating Hailey Bieber. They chose to continue abstaining until they wed in 2018.

A new discovery, Fox recently unveiled that she’s been celibate. “Two and a half years of celibacy and never been better tbh,” she tweeted.
