The Creative Come Up One/Size founder Patrick Starrr broke the makeup side of the internet when he released his Ultimate Blurring Setting Powders. Makeup lovers and content creators flooded social media with videos raving about the product, and more specifically the “Ultra Pink” shade’s ability to set and illuminate the face and blur imperfections like an Instagram filter.
The brand instantly became known for its baking and setting powder range, which includes colors like “Translucent” and “Sweet Honey,” a golden-toned powder for medium to deep hues. Now, One/Size has expanded its offering to include three more brightening shades: “Ultra Peach,” “Marigold” and “Rich Peach” for fair, medium and dark skin tones, respectively.
Now, the company has seven different shades; with each shade created to serve a specific purpose for a key group of skintones. The brightening effect of the “Marigold” yellow color, for deep complexions, will not have the same eye-catching, illuminating effect on a fairer complexion. Similarly, the brightening “Ultra Peach” shade, that’s made for fair skin, may leave an ashy veil on darker skin. Lastly, the brand’s blurring “Dark Deep” shade, made for brown skin, will leave a brown cast or tint if used on fairer skin.
Picking the right setting powder is important to the finish and longevity of your makeup look, as the product’s shade and purpose can instantly boost or wreck your makeup look.
