Estrid has unveiled its latest innovation in hair removal — a vegan wax strip range to assist in painless waxing with up to 28 days of hairlessness. The new strips can be used on the body, face, bikini and underarm regions, making it a complete home waxing range that is more comfortable than standard options. According to the press release, the kit includes “body-hugging technology,” which means seamless body contact with the strips and pull efficiency.

Here’s a step-by-step on the kit:
Preparation: Ensure your skin is clean , exfoliated and has no moisture. If you just showered, wait approximately 45 minutes to give your skin time to cool down. The hair should be 2-6mm in length to get the best outcome.
Application: Gradually separate the two strips to maintain the evenness of the wax on one side of the strips. This means strips do not need to be rubbed to warm them up.
Placement: The wax strips should be applied toward hair growth and massaged on the skin’s surface with a firm palm.
Removal: Try to keep the skin tight between your fingers, located at the end of the strip. Then, tug in the direction that goes against the hair’s direction of growth. Estrid recommends that the strip should not be used on a given skin area more than twice.
Aftercare: Wipe off with the post-wax treatment kit to get rid of any residue. Lastly, take care of your skin after as redness can be expected for 24 hours after use if this is your first wax or if you have sensitive skin. Do not use products containing alcohol, and do not expose yourself to the sun for a whole day after waxing.
