Upstream Unveils The World's First Music-Inspired Fashion App
With pieces from Aries, Martine Rose, Robyn Lynch and more.
You’ve heard of Vesitaire Collective, The RealReal and Farfetch, but there’s a new app in the market, this time with a music twist. Upstream is the first fashion streaming service powered by music and video, letting you buy brands worn by your favorite musicians. With a try-before-you-buy model, you can stream clothes just like you do music. Featuring over 250 fashion creators and more than 350 music artists, the app perfectly combines style and sound.
Paying a monthly subscription of £24.99 GBP and a pay-as-you-go cost of £34.99 GBP per item per month, members receive 500 coins monthly, unlocking pieces worth up to £250 GBP in retail value.
Its a match: Aries, Martine Rose, Sage Nation, Robyn Lynch and Yardsale. Users can refresh their wardrobe discovering new designers and emerging music from the likes of Arthi, Bawo, BXKS, Capo Lee, Ella Knight and VC Pines.
You can make purchases within the app without any commitment to buy. The longer you hold onto an item, the lower its price drops, aligning with secondary market pricing.

If you ever get bored of the items or decide they’re not quite your style, returning them has never been easier — items come tagged and boxed in reusable packaging with pre-paid return shipping, which can be sent back via any DPD drop shop or participating post offices nationwide. Returning items will be professionally cleaned and steamed, ready to bring joy to the next person.
Upstream’s meticulously curated product stream celebrates the worth of items from past collections. By managing surplus stock from various seasons, the service reduces its environmental footprint and promotes the reuse of fashion pieces. The app’s pilot phase has already sparked significant interest, with already a community of 8,500 members and a subscription waitlist exceeding 5,000 people.
The streaming service is available via Apple’s App store in the U.K. and will soon expand to the U.S. and Europe.
