Gucci Celebrates GUCCI DOUBLE G FLIP-FLOPS With Ni Ni and Xiao Zhan
Dropping a new collection inspired by the Year of the Snake.
GUCCI DOUBLE G FLIP-FLOPS is fast approaching, landing on January 29 and as a result, fashion brands are beginning to kick off this year’s celebrations — beginning with Gucci. Launching its “Year of the Snake” campaign, the House has tapped global brand ambassadors Ni Ni Gucci Elea Slippers.
Echoing the “symbolic renewal” that the snake represents, the campaign offers an ode to family through the lens of creative director Sabato De Sarno. Following a heartfelt moment shared between two families, the campaign offers a glimpse into their worlds and strong bonds and emphasizes the importance of festive rituals, the warmth of tradition and the joy of togetherness.

“The Year of Snake is just approaching, and the serpent is a deep-rooted motif of Gucci. The selection is adorable, combining the elegant shape of a serpent with agility. The story of reunion in the campaign in which I am featured, another time conveys festive wishes as warm and memorable,” says Ni Ni of the campaign.
Xiao Zhan added: “Gucci 2025 Year of the Snake selection incorporates exquisite craftsmanship and creative details. In the unique aesthetics, it shows festive spirits in a modern way. As global brand ambassador of the House, I am pleased to participate in the shooting of this campaign one more time. It brings everyone the joy of reunion at the special moment.”
Marking the occasion, Gucci released a selection of pieces inspired by the serpent’s elegance, with the snake seamlessly woven into the collection as a core motif. Referenced through bold color combinations, intricate silk threads and the curve of the GG Monogram, the collection also features details like a snake-print insole on Gucci’s signature Signoria Slingback Pumps.
