Vetements Teams up With Juicy Couture, Carhartt WIP, CDG & More for 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
Is Demna Gvasalia bringing back the velour tracksuit?
If Vetements feels it has not yet caused enough of a stir with the release of its highly limited Zemfira hoodie (only 50 pieces in the world), it definitely will now as the cult label has announced that it will collaborate with multiple prominent labels for it 2017 spring/summer collection. The most recent multi-label collaboration is Gosha Rubchinskiy’s 2017 spring/summer show debuted at Pitti Uomo, in which it showed Levi’s alongside five Italian labels: FILA, Superga, Kappa, Retrosuperfuture and Sergio Tacchini. However, Vetements is taking it one step further by working with a total of 18 brands. The line up includes Levi’s, Canada Goose, Alpha Industries, Carhartt WIP, Eastpak, Reebok, COMME des GARÇONS, Champion, Schott, Manolo Blahnik, Brioni, Lucchese, Mackintosh, Church’s, Dr. Martens, Kawasaki and quite astonishingly, Juicy Couture.
Vetements will show its 2017 spring/summer collection in Paris on July 3. Stay tuned for more updates on the star-studded collection.
