Pink sneakers with a twist Maison Margiela‘s 2017 fall couture line is deconstruction. The brand employs tulle, gold boots and glamour to create an artisan’s wonderland. With the help of master makeup artist Pat McGrath, each look sent down the runway was dramatic and awe-inspiring. McGrath used her glitter kit to create her signature red lip and blocked out the brows of the models to serve an alien-like look. She also followed the label’s lead, mixing textures like glitter, glue and eyeshadow to craft looks ahead of our time. Bella Hadid and the gilded crew strutted the runway in exaggerated silhouettes that belong in the future. This collaboration between McGrath and Margiela made for an extravagant showing.
