We recently shared the news that our favorite cartoon cat, Hello Kitty rdquo; to &ldquo Share this article. Already whitelisted us Sanrio‘s most popular character already has themed hospitals, hotels, cafes and more under her belt, across the world.
For those who’ve been eagerly awaiting a glimpse at what this undeniably kawaii train could look like, we now have access to some concept renderings that offer a peek at what’s to come. Of course, the carriages are covered in pastel tones throughout, with graphic details showcasing Hello Kitty and her friends adorning the walls. The communal first carriage on the train is dubbed “Hello! Plaza!” and boasts a presentation area for exhibitions, a rest corner to catch up with friends and a video corner which will screen special Hello Kitty films. The second car, titled “Kawaii! Room” hosts comfortable seating with pink armrests and Hello Kitty headrests, as well as pink carpets and bow illustrations around the windows. There’s also a photo spot so you can go home with your own personal souvenir.
Additionally, there’s an extra-special store on board, where you’ll be able to pick up all kinds of Sanrio-themed goodies. Take a look inside, and at the newly-released exterior images above – the service is due to run from June 30 to September 30, between Osaka and Hakata.
