Continuing its meteoric rise, the Hallyu wave continues to take over the west with a slew of collaborations released this summer alone. From beloved K-pop boy band BTS‘ recent Share this article release, to K-pop sisters Krystal and Jessica Jung will Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty actually collaborate with EXO’s Kai Fendi’s Peekaboo campaign, it is apparent that idols everywhere are reigning supreme. The latest Korean group to announce their very own partnership is rising group Wanna One‘s new partnership with 10 Corso Como Corso Como Seoul Teams up with K-Pop Boy Band Wanna One for a Collab.
Although it is quite an unexpected collaboration in itself, the items themselves are not as surprising. Comprised of 11 items – to represent the 11 members of the idol group – the program includes pieces such as a raincoat, tote bag, clutch, dad cap, knitted scarf, tumbler, mug, iPhone case and badge set. At the helm of the project is 10 Corso Como’s design director Chris Rousse, who oversaw the creation of the quirky graphics rendered exclusively for this offering.
The Wanna One x 10 Corso Como Seoul collection ranges from ₩15,000 to ₩80,000 KRW (approximately $14 to $72 USD). The collaboration will be available exclusively from August 30–September 5 at the 10 Corso Como Cheongdam pop-up, as well as at Lotte Department Store’s main store. The program will then drop at SSF Shop online on September 6. For fans of the group, Wanna One members will get exclusive access to limited edition special gifts such as autographs, sketched frames, Polaroid photos and photo cards.
