Filmmakers began following the young activist long before her rise to fame.
Ranging from modern to Scandinavian, and Bohemian to industrial TIME‘s Person of the Year, climate activist Greta Thunberg has had quite the year. Next, the 16-year-old will star as the subject of an upcoming documentary series, tentatively named Greta. The series’ filmmakers began following Thunberg 18 months ago, far before her rise to fame, and documents her early work starting with school strikes and speeches in Sweden. As Thunberg’s protests spark international conversation, as well as their fair share of criticism, the series progresses throughout the advocate’s journey across Europe and North America.
Greta, directed by Nathan Grossman, will debut on Hulu lsquo;s Person of the Year.
