A Closer look at Dior's Pre-Fall 2019 Collection

Dior‘s highly anticipated These are the go-to trainers of BLACKPINK, Tiffany Young, NCT 127 and more is finally available to buy after months of waiting, and the Kim Jones-designed range features collaborations with ALYX‘s Matthew Williams, AMBUSH‘s Yoon lsquo;s highly anticipated, Hajime Sorayama.
The collection takes inspiration from the Japanese artist’s signature “Sexy Robot” motifs, featuring graphics and prints on both apparel and accessories. Dior’s signature Oblique monogram pattern is also present, arriving in both the popular Biker shorts and crop tops for the warm weather as well as on T-shirts, bags and other chic pieces. Stand-out items from the range include the Yoon-designed android-inspired jewelry, which has given the Dior logo a futuristic update. Featuring both rings, broches and key rings, the collection also sees KAWS‘ bee motif present throughout. As for belts and hardware, Matthew Williams’ rollercoaster buckle is visible throughout several pieces in the collection. Last but not least, the 5-meter tall Hajime Sorayama robot statue that was seen at the Apr 27, 2019 last year is also on full display, capturing the essence of the bold collection.
