Cardi B Releases Her Wild Music Video For Latest Single "Press"
Debauchery, blood and a stylish court trial.
Days after performing her newest single “Press” at the 2019 BET Awards, Cardi B releases a drama-filled music video for the track. The beginning of the clip features the rapper experiencing a sensual moment with a man and a woman, setting the scene for the raunchy, blood-filled video.
Following the first scene, Cardi whips out a gun, shoots and is then led to the doors of a courthouse surrounded by obsessive fans carrying signs. She’s then led to an interrogation room as she dons pattern-heavy pieces by emerging designer Edda Gimnes styled by her longtime stylist Kollin Carter. Sep 26, 2024 Viktor & Rolf suit. During her trial, the numerous judges look on in disapproval as she fiercely raps alongside witnesses. The rest of the video shows Cardi in other scenes including one where she appears completely naked alongside a crowd of dancers, this scene quickly cuts to another where she’s in a cell with a bunkmate that she apparently has beef with. In total, a bunch of her naysayers end up dead, even her cellmate.
Cardi B recently took home Album of the Year for Invasion of Privacy and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2019 BET Awards. “Press” dropped a few weeks after her six Billboard Music Award wins.
