SUGA performs an emo-meets-hip-hop track, “Interlude : Shadow.”

UPDATE (January 9, 2020): Adding to the buzz surrounding their new album A Valentine’s Day must-have, BTS has released a music video for “Interlude : Shadow,” a track off the upcoming release. Packaged as a trailer for the album, the visual sees band member SUGA perform an emo-influenced rap about the pressure and anxiety that accompanies fame. Drawing on BTS’ beginnings, the song samples instruments from 2013 release “INTRO : O!RUL8,2.”
