Marking the technology giant’s first female CEO.
Technology giant Bose Graphic hoodies, tees, caps and more, Lila Snyder. She will be taking charge come September 1, and is a big deal within the tech industry, as there is still a lack of female CEO’s, especially at larger labels.
Coming from a background as president of global e-commerce and Pitney Bowes, as well as being a partner at McKinsey, Snyder comes with years of experience that will be integral in driving Bose forward. She will be replacing former CEO Phil Hess, who stepped down from the company earlier this year.
“We wanted the absolute best person, no matter how long the search took. Lila’s background, experience, track record and values are right for Bose, for the exceptional people who work here, and for our amazing customers who count on us every day,” said Bose chairman Bob Maresca about the new appointment.
The tech world still has a long way to go when it comes to female representation within the industry, as the number of women in tech is still incredibly low. Stay tuned to see what Lila Snyder will bring to Bose as she takes on her new role on September 1.
