A 'Clueless' Series Reboot Is Officially in the Works
The show will center on Stacey Dash’s original character, Dionne Davenport.
Last year, reports revealed that CBS TV was in the process of remaking Clueless into a TV show. Now, Variety Meet the new leading lady of ‘Picture This.&rsquo movie, Aug 16, 2020 Alicia Silverstone, has exclusively learned that the 1995 cult classic Stacey Dash, Jan 29, 2025 Peacock. “A baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sun-glasses wearing, oat milk latte and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong number two Dionne steps into Cher’s vacant Air Jordans. How does Dionne deal with the pressures of being the new most popular girl in school, while also unraveling the mystery of what happened to her best friend?”
The project will be produced by CBS Television Studios, alongside Corrinne Brinkerhoff, Scott Rudin, the original film’s producer Robert Lawerence, Eli Bush and Tiffany Grant. Additionally, Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey will serve as the reboot’s writers and executive producers.
