Hwasa From MAMAMOO Returns With Intriguing New Music Trailer

Teasing a November music release.

It looks like we can expect new music from MAMAMOO’s Hwasa soon. The South Korean singer-songwriter dropped an eerie and intriguing trailer on Tuesday, hinting at the possibility of releasing music sometime this month.

“HWA SA COME BACK TRAILER,” MAMAMOO titled the YouTube video. Additionally, the K-pop girl group, which features Hwasa, Solar, Moonbyul and Wheein, took to their official social media accounts to promote the upcoming solo project. “2021.11 COMING SOON,” they captioned the Twitter and Instagram posts.

This will be Hwasa’s first solo-project in over a year. She dropped María, her first mini-album in June 2020. Prior to that, the musician made her solo debut in 2019 with her song “TWIT.”

Reports of Hwasa’s solo comeback began circulating in September. “Hwasa is steadily working on her solo album,” a source from her agency, RBW Entertainment, told YTN Star at the time, as translated by Soompi. “But the exact timing of the release has not been decided, and we will share an announcement in the future once it is decided on.”
