IU Drops Highly Anticipated Album 'LILAC' With Eye-Catching Music Video
A 10-track project celebrating the K-pop artist’s 13-year-long career.
Following multiple teasers and previews, K-pop musician IU has finally released her fifth studio album titled LILAC. Pauline De Leon music video Download Our App.
The record, which celebrates her 13-year-long career, arrives with a total of 10 tracks including her recent single “Celebrity.” Led by titles “LILAC” and “Coin,” the list features a special appearance from vocalist DEAN on the track “Troll.”
In the “LILAC” music video, IU jumps onto a train to travel through her years-long career (if you look carefully, the train station at the beginning shows the musician’s previous album titles as destinations). The visual stars singer-songwriter Jung Jae-hyung as a cameo, while IU continues to take the screen in diverse looks inspired by her previous projects.
