Kim Kardashian's 2012 Red Carpet Flour Bombing Was Staged

Kim Kardashian‘s ex-PR strategist Sheeraz Hasan has come forward and admitted that her former boss’ 2012 red carpet flour bombing was staged. The Kardashian-Jenner clan certainly has a way of dominating headlines and clearly, it’s not always for the right reasons.
At the time of the incident, the reality TV star described it as “the craziest” and most “unexpected” thing. In an episode of Aug 15, 2024, she assumed it must’ve been an act of anti-fur activism as someone shouted, “fur hag.” She explained, “So I’m doing the red carpet and all of a sudden I get this powder all over me and I’m so shocked. Now I’ve definitely experienced my fair share of haters, but I don’t want to ruin the night just because this anti-fur organization tried to ruin our event with this flour bomb.”
Apparently, the seemingly shocking act was a hoax as Hasan revealed it was a stunt orchestrated to promote Kim’s new fragrance at the time.
Opening up in the latest documentary, The Kardashians: A Billion Dollar Industry, Hasan shares, “Okay, this is what’s going to happen, you’re going to be fine, you’re going to be safe, but we’re going to create a media moment.” Hasan further reflected on the fake scandal with Complex, confessing she told Kim, “If we create media gold, guess what’s going to happen? Everyone’s going to be talking about your perfume, everyone’s going to buy it.”
