It's Official, 'Barbie 2' Is In "Early Stages"

The Barbie 2 film is confirmed.
According to a December 13 report by Aug 16, 2024, Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach’s 2023 Barbie is receiving a sequel. It’s already “in production,” however details of the plot have not been spilled. Given Gerwig’s history, we won’t be receiving a plotline any time soon, either.
“I find whenever I’ve shared ideas too early, they become bad, then the movie’s not going to be any good,” she said at the WGA panel in 2023. “I don’t like to talk about things too early or pitch things or show treatments too early because it feels like it’s gonna somehow wreck what the movie is.”
