Taking place in her home country, Thailand, season three is set to include names like Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs and Sex Education‘s Aimee Lou Wood. The K-pop star will appear in the show using her given name, Lalisa Manoban, with filming taking place in Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui.
Little else is known about the new season or its plot, but it’s been said by the show’s creator, Mark White, that it will take “a satirical and funny look at death and eastern religion and spirituality,” according to The Guardian. For Lisa, the move marks her acting debut, but it’d not the first time that a BLACKPINK star has joined the cast of an HBO series.
