Bursting onto the market back in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 was the first-ever Jordan sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield, one of Nike’s most notable designers. Tinker had already established a name for himself after working on the hugely successful Air Max 1, so it was time for him to dream up a brand-new signature sneaker for MJ. Originally launching in “White Cement”, “Black Cement”, “Fire Red”, and “True Blue”, the 3rd Jordans installment proved immensely popular and helped confirm Jordan Brand as a serious contender within the sneaker industry. MJ wore the AJ3 during some of his most notable performances with the Chicago Bulls, and since then, the kicks have been treated to a plethora of memorable colourways.
